Andy's BIO

Fortitude, strength, and purpose; a few of the strong words used to describe children's entertainer extraordinaire, Andrew C. Germain. Wait a second, are you kidding? Let's start over. Comedy, Energy, Youthful, Zany, Endearing, and Sincere sounds more like the description that engages the attention of children across America.

Mr. Germain uses a combination of Character and Emotional Intelligence, Ethics, and out right Silliness to deliver edutainment never seen or experienced before. "Edutainment" you say, yes, "edutainment". Edutainment is entertainment designed to educate as well as amuse. With Mr. Germain's 10+ years of experience as a teacher to children in schools across the country between pre-K and 2nd grade, he brings in ample experience and understanding of traditional education.

Mr. Germain's primary vehicle of edutainment is not through the silliness and larger than life character you see and hear on stage, or through a traditional teaching curriculum, but through music, his own music. Andrew is a singer and songwriter that graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. Every one of Andrew's songs has a memorable melody and relevant lyric that will remain in children's minds for weeks straight. Mr. Germain wouldn't have to bother or worry about producing a modern and relevant sound with some of the world's best musicians that sets the bar in Children's music, if the parents didn't confess that they jam to Mr. Germain's tunes even when the children aren't in the car. Parents, we warned you, don't listen if you are not ready to deal with "Monster in Pink Underwear" or "Traffic Signs", though some may need a recap on normal traffic procedures.

Okay great, Mr. Germain writes his own songs, has taught in schools for years, teaches emotional intelligence, good morals, and makes kids laugh and sing uncontrollably, but what really qualifies him to help deal with some of the bigger issues that children experience through parental separations and single parent homes. Losing both of his parents to terminal illnesses as a child, Mr. Germain might have a little bit of understanding in dealing with hurt and pain to say the least. But Andrew feels that it is his job to share with children, his feelings of hope, happiness, and understanding. Whether they are dealing with the loss of a parent, or the fact that they didn't get the happy meal toy they wanted.

While fortitude, strength, and purpose may be inappropriate words to describe a children's entertainer, they do ring true for Mr. Germain. Andrew C. Germain currently lives in Los Angeles, California and has just released his third album, "Monster in Pink Underwear". Mr. Germain is the host of the upcoming show Koo-Koo Ree-Koo Childrens Show on Jewish Life Television and is pursuing many national television and music opportunities.
"I feel like I have the experience and tools to take children's edutainment to a new level for children, parents, and educators. I look forward in what's to come."
